VELOCITY METRE/SECOND @ AVERAGE FLOW RATE IS 1.5 M/S FOR EACH MODEL

SELECTION MADE EASY
  1. Determine the average flow rate of the supply line to be protected.

  2. Use the flow chart to match the average flow rate.
FOR EXAMPLE
The average flow rate of the supply line to the hot water system is 25 litres per minute. From the specifications chart above you will see that the flow rate falls between a Model 1218 (18 l/m) and Model 2034 (34 l/m). The correct Turbu-Flow would be the Model 1218 rated at 18 litres per minute. In all borderline cases it is better to select a size smaller Turbu-Flow unit to gain maximum performance.
THE PROVEN SYSTEM
The Turbu-Flow System:
  • Resists the deposition of calcium carbonate and in almost all cases returns it to solution as soluble calcium bicarbonate.

  • Removes dehydrated calcium carbonate (scale) from boiler tubes by causing it to dissolve, in some cases it flakes away.

  • Stops the deposition of gypsum and brings it back to solution.

  • Retards the corrosive action of iron sulphide and iron oxide.

  • Stops deposition of free sulphur and in most cases brings it back to solution.

  • Eliminates or greatly retards the corrosive action of hydrogen sulphide upon metal, specifically steel.

  • Stops the deposition of salt, and in all cases brings it back into solution.

  • Inhibits the formation of some algae

  • Works effectively in either hot or cold water.

  • Will reduce maintenance and therefore costs.

  • Will allow equipment to work with greater efficiency.
