Poison Oak & Miracle II

My son and I both had gotten into poison ivy or oak. We live in NC and he called his grandmother to ask her what to put on it. She told him that they had just gotten something new (Miracle II Neutralizer Gel), and she would send him some. If this worked they could bring more when they came to our house the next week.

While we were waiting for that to come in the mail, mine had gotten worse. I called the Dr. and he told me what they recommended that I put on it. Well, I did that and it really got bad. I got blood blisters and blisters all over my arms. The Miracle II arrived but it wasn't enough for us both to use everyday, so I let my son use it 3-4 times a day to clear his up and I put it on a couple times just to keep the pain bearable until my in-laws got here with all the Miracle II Products.    

When they arrived, I first took a bath in the Moisturizing Soap and then applied the Gel to my arms. This started clearing it up but was drying it up too fast and got to painful. So we mixed 1 oz. Neutralizer in about 2 cups of water and soaked white cloth bandages in it and applied it to both arms. Then we wrapped Saran Wrap around both arms. I left it on overnight. I could just feel it pulling all the poison out of my arms. But being new to the Miracle II products, I didn't know how long to leave it on. I took them off and put them back on several times over the next 24 hrs. Each time that I took them off, I would soak them in the bathtub using the moisturizing soap, then reapply the wrap.

When I took them off the last time, I took a bath and all the blisters and old skin came off. PRAISE THE LORD! I had new skin that wasn't quite ready to be exposed to the air yet. Over the next few days, I used the baths and the gel and the moisturizing lotion. Knowing what I know now, I would have just wrapped them a couple more days and I am confident that they would have been completely healed.
